Police cruiser involved in collision downtown

A police cruiser has been involved in a three car collision in the downtown core on Monday evening.

There are reports one officer suffered minor injuries. The incident may have been the result of pursuit near Parliament and Front Streets after 6:30 p.m.

The suspect vehicle was reportedly abandoned at Cherry Street and Eastern Avenue. A perimeter being set up, and there are reports the suspect may have ran into a construction site.

Emergency services are at the scene.
