York Regional Police have made an arrest in an incident where the driver of an SUV drove up and over two parked cars last week.

Surveillance footage from the parking lot of the Extreme Fitness on Yonge Street in Thornhill became an internet hit on YouTube with the label of the “world’s worst parking job.”

Richmond Hill resident Tripta Kaushal, 62, has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident.

Kaushal allegedly drove into a parking space and kept going, driving over two parked cars and then backed out of the space and slowly drove out of the lot.

She is due to appear in court on Dec. 1.
