Liberal MP Carolyn Bennett is calling for an emergency House of Commons debate on H1N1.

Bennett says she is concerned because the information made public by the government in the last few days indicates that the supply and delivery of the vaccine will not be sufficient.

According to reports gathered by Bennett’s Ottawa office, Canadians in high risk groups have been turned away from immunization centres due to insufficient supply of the vaccine.

Speaker Peter Milliken is expected to rule on the issue later today.

Bennett is the representative for the St. Paul’s riding in downtown Toronto.
