Three injured in rush hour crash in city's north end

A major crash at the height of the Thursday evening rush hour in the north end of the city has sent three people to hospital.

Steeles Avenue remains closed just east of Highway 427 after four vehicles collided at about 5:30 p.m.

Three people were injured, with one person trapped for up to 40 minutes. Their injuries are believed to be serious.

Toronto police traffic services officers continue to investigate at the scene of the crash.
