The Canadian Press

TORONTO — Numerous charges have been laid after a car was seen driving erratically through the streets of Toronto early today.

Police got a call that someone was driving wildly (in the Yonge and St. Clair area) around 3:40 a.m.

Police say the driver hit a parked car and kept going before the occupants of the vehicle jumped out and ran.

A man arrested in a nearby backyard is facing charges of dangerous driving, failure to remain and assaulting a police officer.
