Man hit with two-by-four in assault outside tavern

TORONTO — Toronto police are seeking a suspect after a man was attacked with a two-by-four.

Police say the 24-year-old victim was taken to hospital by ambulance after he was hit in the face with the piece of wood just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the man was hit after a fight broke out inside a tavern (on Albion Road near Highway 27).

The victim needed stitches to close a cut on his chin.
