The family of the young boy who fell to his death at Pearson Airport is thanking the public for their support.

The victim – 15-month-old Lucca Romano - wiggled out of his mother’s arms and fell 15 metres to the floor below. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The boy’s father, Flavio Romano, says other parents are sharing their support with the family.

“Any support that we’re getting…it’s helping a lot,” says Romano.
