TORONTO - A Toronto man wanted in a sexual assault investigation involving a 12-year-old girl turned himself in to police today.
Police allege the girl was sexually assaulted last Saturday in the hallway of an apartment building (near Ellesmere Road and Morningside Avenue).
Investigators had appealed to the public for information about the case.
Kandeepan Poopalasingham, 34, is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and failing to comply with probation.
