The family of a man who was stuck and killed three months ago is hoping a $100,000 reward will help catch his killer.

Christopher Skinner had just left his sister's birthday party in the early morning hours of Oct. 18 and was trying to hail a cab on Adelaide Street when things turned deadly.

The 27-year-old was beaten by at least two occupants of an SUV and run over by the vehicle. Skinner later died in hospital.

Just days after the murder, the homicide squad announced a $50,000 reward and his family added $25,000. The reward, however, hasn't turned up clues that detectives need to solve the case.

On Tuesday morning in Uxbridge, the victim’s father, Warren Skinner, announced an increase of $25,000 for information, bringing the total reward money to $100,000

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
