Santa's Workshop has a big new helper for the annual Santa Claus Parade after CTV unwrapped an exclusive broadcast partnership Tuesday.

The world's longest-running children's parade and CP24 have teamed up to provide live coverage of the parade in the GTA.

The parade will also be broadcast on CTV from coast to coast on Nov. 21. It last aired on CTV in 1981.

Since 1905, the Toronto Santa Claus parade has made its way through the streets of downtown Toronto, dazzling spectators with an array of magical floats, bands, clowns and -- of course – Santa, delivering a joyous holiday occasion not to be missed.

Now in its 106th year, The Santa Claus Parade is by far one of the most-attended parades in Toronto and one of the largest in the world

"This is a joyful homecoming for CTV," said Susanne Boyce, CTV's president of creative, content and channels. "Our coverage of the parade will strive to create lasting memories in the hearts of children of all ages for this historic holiday tradition."

"We are delighted to partner with Canada's number one network for coverage of the Santa Claus Parade," said Peter Beresford, the parade's president. "CTV has shown that it can unite viewers at home and around the world with unparalleled coverage of historic live events, and we look forward to offering a parade that ushers in the holiday season like no other event in the country."
