TORONTO - The union and management at Toronto's Delta Chelsea hotel have reached a tentative agreement after a sleepless night of bargaining.

Unite Here Local 75 says the tentative deal ends the strike and averts a lockout threat.

Details of the agreement will be released after a ratification vote Monday.

The strike began on Oct. 27.

The union representing the 510 striking hotel workers said the dispute was over workloads, job security, wages and benefits.

The parent company operates the Delta Chelsea hotel, Delta Toronto East and Delta Airport West.

The other two hotels are also currently in negotiations with the union.
