A pet owner who lost a pair of pythons has been reunited with his reptiles after they were found slithering through an east end home.

Jacob Lance, who owns the two snakes, says he kept his pets in their tank since he bought them.

Lance, however, blames his ex-girlfriend for their disappearance. He says she didn't close their tank properly one day and one snake went missing in July.

"The first one, Steve French, he got out and got out of a hole in the side of the house," Lance says.

Two weeks later, she went to pick up the second snake, Vira, but it managed to get slither from her.

About a month ago, Chris Forde and Janet Wilkinson found one of the snakes after ripping out their toilet for renovations in their home near Coxwell and Danforth Avenues. They live a few streets away from Lance.

They found another snake inside their washing machine this weekend. Both pythons were taken to Tails Pet Store.

After hearing about the story on CP24, Lance recognized his missing reptiles and got in touch with the pet store to be reunited with his pets Monday morning.
