The union representing Canada Post workers is moving its rotating strike to Hamilton.

CUPW says Canada Post workers will go on strike in Hamilton at 11:45 p.m. and walk the picket lines for 48 hours.

A 24 hour strike by 150 workers in Winnipeg is schedueld to end at 11:59 p.m.

"I want to be clear. We cannot accept unsafe and unfair conditions and that’s why I want to announce that the local of Hamilton will go out for 48 hours," Deni Lemelin, national president of CUPW, told a morning news conference in Ottawa. "The goal is the same. We want a good collective agreement that adresses the issue on the table, so we will continue to strike, but we will also continue to negotiate."
