The funeral arrangements for the late NDP Leader Jack Layton have been revealed.
Jack Layton's body will lie in state in the foyer of the House of Commons in Ottawa on both Wednesday and Thursday. It will be open to the public from 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
On Friday, mourners in Toronto will have a chance to pay tribute to Layton as he lies in repose at city hall. The public viewing will take place from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday.
A funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at Roy Thompson Hall at 2 p.m.
Layton passed away Monday morning after losing a second battle with cancer.
