The Toronto Board of Trade says the provincial parties aren't doing enough to address challenges facing Toronto's economy.

The board has released a survey which finds that when it comes to the economy, 65 per cent of people say they believe the global economic situation is having an major impact on the GTA.

As well, 70 per cent of those polled don't feel the parties are putting enough focus on issues including traffic and congestion in the GTA. Sixty-one per cent of those polled say traffic has reached "crisis proportions."

The board is calling on each party to commit to developing a long-term financing strategy for transportation infrastructure expansion among other points.
