Memories

This is a photo of men getting trained, at Val Cartier, to deploy overseas in WWI.

My father, George LaPointe, is the first man in the third row.

Note the mud they are marching in.

My father also served in WWII, as a sergeant. Towards the end of the war, he and others from 'the old guard', lived with and guarded prisoners in Quebec.
