CP24.com readers were asked to share their Remembrance Day stories with us, whether they participated in the war or grew up with a loved one in service. These are their memories and the photos that have defined their experience.

Memories

Hi,

My father caught Scarlett Fever while serving in WWII. It ruined his health.

He spent two years in a veteran's hospital right after the war and died young at fifty-six.

My grandfather was in the trenches in WW1 and was wounded in the leg by a bouncing betty mine, but at least he came home.

Here they are.
