A 49-year-old Keswick man has been charged with making and possessing child pornography.

The York Regional Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit received information that prompted them to begin investigating the man on February 20.

On Thursday they conducted a search of his house, where they allegedly found pornographic photos of a 16-year-old female.

A computer, an external hard drive and photographic equipment were also seized.

Rob Lewis was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography.

Lewis is expected to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket today.
