TORONTO - Some of the world's top comic creators have been added to the lineup of this year's Wizard World Toronto Comic Con.

Mike Deodato Jr. ("Amazing Spider-Man," "Wonder Woman"), Jock ("Detective Comics," "Batman") and John McCrea ("Hitman," "Transmetropolitan") are among the top writers and artists who have been added to the lineup for the event, slated for April 14-15 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Javi Fernandez ("Flashpoint: The Outsider," "Captain America: First Vengeance"), Dale Keown ("Hulk," "The Pitt") and Emmy-winning animator Phil Ortiz ("The Simpsons") are also new additions to the event's roster.

The pop-culture convention has reeled in a number of other stars, including Scott Bakula of "Quantum Leap" and "Star Trek: Enterprise," Paul Wesley of "The Vampire Diaries," Jeri Ryan of "Star Trek: Voyager" and Dean Stockwell, best-known for "Battlestar Galactica."

Thousands of enthusiasts are expected to attend this year's Toronto Comic Con, produced by Wizard World.
