SUNRISE, Fla. -- Mitch Marner was selected fourth overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday at the NHL Draft.

The five-foot-11 forward played for the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights in major junior.

He was second in OHL scoring with 126 points in 63 games, behind Dylan Strome.

Strome was selected third overall by the Arizona Coyotes.

Toronto also has the 24th overall pick, acquired in a trade with the Nashville Predators for defenceman Cody Franson earlier this season.
