The Toronto Maple Leafs are kicking off draft day with a party for the team’s fans.

The organization announced Monday the public party will be held on Friday, June 26 at the Ford Fan Zone at Maple Leaf Square at 5 p.m.

The team is celebrating the fact that their fourth overall pick is the highest draft selection for the team since 1989. The Leafs also have the 24th overall pick this season.

Fans will be able to enjoy a free barbeque, games, special appearances and prize giveaways which include season tickets and ice time with Wendel Clark, the organization said in a press release.

“The draft is an integral part of the Leafs’ future success and we’re excited to be sharing this experience with our fans,” said Toronto Maple Leafs President Brendan Shanahan. “This party is just one small way to show our gratitude to Leafs Nation because we’re not a team without our fans.”
