TORONTO -- Toronto FC has lost its appeal of Justin Morrow's sending off, meaning the fullback will be suspended for Sunday's game against Real Salt Lake.

The club appealed the red card in a March 14 loss to Columbus because it believed Morrow had made a fair tackle.

An independent review panel disagreed.

The one-game ban adds to Toronto's defensive woes this week. Starting centre-back Steven Caldwell is questionable with a leg problem while several other defenders, including centre back Damien Perquis, are probable.
