TORONTO -- Marc Krauss hit a go-ahead two-run double off reliever Steve Delabar in the seventh inning as the Los Angeles Angels came back for a 4-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday night at Rogers Centre.

Krauss, who entered the game in the fifth inning as a replacement for slugger Albert Pujols, drove a pitch into the gap that scored Mike Trout and Erick Aybar. Pujols left the game with a bruised left hand after being hit by a pitch.

Jered Weaver (3-4) allowed four hits, three earned runs and three walks over seven innings for the victory. Huston Street got the final three outs for his 14th save.

Toronto starter Drew Hutchison (3-1) allowed four earned runs, six hits and two walks over 6 2/3 innings. The Blue Jays (18-24) have dropped nine of their last 11 games and occupy the American League East division basement.

Toronto will go for a split of the four-game series on Thursday. Los Angeles (21-19) has won seven of its last nine games.

After three quiet innings to open the game, the Angels threatened in the fourth by loading the bases with nobody out. Hutchison struck out David Freese and worked a full count on Matt Joyce before walking him to push across the first run.

The Toronto right-hander kept the damage to a minimum by getting C.J. Cron and Carlos Perez to pop up in the infield.

In the bottom half of the frame, Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion drew walks before Canadian Russell Martin hit into a double play that moved Bautista to third base.

Chris Colabello drove in the Toronto slugger with a double. Ezequiel Carrera followed with an RBI single and Danny Valencia drove in another run with a double to make it a 3-1 game.

Trout halved the deficit with a solo shot in the fifth inning. It was his 11th homer of the season.

Taylor Featherston reached in the seventh and made it to third base with one out after a stolen base and wild pitch. Aybar hit a hard grounder that shortstop Ryan Goins scooped and threw to Martin at home and Featherston was tagged in a rundown.

Hutchison was pulled after issuing a two-out walk to Trout. Delabar came on in relief and threw a wild pitch that moved the runners into scoring position.

The Krauss double was his second hit of the season. He came up again in the ninth inning with runners on the corners but flew out.

Pinch-hitter Justin Smoak hit a two-out single off Street but Valencia flew out to end the game. Announced attendance was 16,402 and the game took two hours 36 minutes to play.
