In case avoiding elimination from the postseason wasn't incentive enough, the Toronto Blue Jays may have a little extra motivation to win Game 3 of the American League Division Series against the Texas Rangers this weekend.

A video shot by a baseball fan at the Roger Centre during Friday’s marathon game making the rounds on social media shows Rangers’ pitcher Derek Holland using a Jays rally towel for an unintended purpose.

The 10-second clip shows Holland picking the white towel off the turf before looking up into the stands and wiping his backside with it.

The video was uploaded to Twitter by Michael Papaeliou shortly before 3 p.m.

“@BlueJays @BleacherReport @SportsCenter @TSN_Sports @Sportsnet @Steve_Dangle Derek Holland in the bullpen,” the caption said.

It was not immediately clear from the video how the towel wound up in the bullpen.

Tensions, at times, ran high between the Jays and Rangers during Friday afternoon’s 14-inning matinee game. Benches emptied in the 13th inning after Jays slugger Josh Donaldson hit a ball to left field that just went foul.

The Rangers lead the best-of-five series 2-0. Game 3 gets underway in Arlington at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
