Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley is urging feuding fans to get behind the club in the stretch drive of the MLS regular season.

Some of Toronto's supporters groups in the normally raucous south end of BMO Field joined forces in going silent during Wednesday's home game against Orlando to protest recent sanctions against the Inebriatti group.

Bradley says he hopes the club and fans can work out their differences because the support is needed.

The club has been at odds with the Inebriatti fan group since an obscene banner was raised in its section during an August loss to Montreal.

Toronto hosts D.C. United on Saturday.
