TORONTO -- The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Andreas Johnson to a three-year entry-level contract and have re-signed defenceman T.J. Brennan to a one-year contract.

Johnson, 20, registered 35 points (22 goals, 13 assists) in 55 regular season games with Frolunda of the Swedish Hockey League during the 2014-15 season.

In 2013-14, Johnson was named the Swedish Hockey League rookie of the year and won a silver medal with Sweden at the world junior hockey championships.

The native of Gavle, Sweden, was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the seventh round (202nd overall) of the 2013 NHL draft.

Brennan, 26, skated in six regular season games with the Maple Leafs during 2014-15, collecting one assist and nine penalty minutes.

The Willingboro, N.J. native added 52 points (12 goals, 40 assists) in 73 AHL games with the Rockford IceHogs and Toronto Marlies.

Brennan was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Spencer Abbott on February 26, 2015. He was the winner of the Eddie Shore Award as the AHL's top defenceman in 2014.
