ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Greg McKegg scored his second goal of the game 4:47 into overtime as the Toronto Marlies came from behind to defeat the host Rochester Americans 4-3 on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Byron Froese also had a pair of goals for the Marlies (24-21-9), who erased a 3-0 deficit for their third win in a row.

Jake McCabe, Bryaden Irwin and Allan MacPherson supplied the scoring for the Americans (24-29-5).

McKegg sparked the comeback when he found the back of the net at 11:41 of the second period. Froese followed that up with a short-handed goal at 16:48 and less than two minutes later he tied the game with his second goal.

Defenceman T.J. Brennan, who was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks organization on Thursday for Toronto forward Spencer Abbott, picked up an assist in his first game with the Marlies.

Toronto's Christopher Gibson made 26 saves for the win as Matt Hackett stopped 23-of-27 shots for Rochester.
