TORONTO - Canadians Sim Bhullar, Keanau Post and Ashton Smith headline the roster for the Toronto Raptors' new NBA Development League team.

The trio were among 11 players who made the team, dubbed Raptors 905, out of camp.

Bhullar, a seven-foot-five centre from Toronto, became the first player of Indian descent to play in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings last season. Victoria's Post is a 6-10 forward out of Missouri, while Toronto's Smith has been playing with the Brampton A's of the National Basketball League.

The team opens its inaugural season on Saturday at Fort Wayne. The home opener is Nov. 19 against the Maine Red Claws at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ont.

Guards Jay Harris, Shannon Scott, Scott Suggs, and Mike Anderson, guard/forwards Axel Toupane and Melvin Johnson, and forwards Michale Kyser and Walter Pitchford make up the remaining eight players, announced Wednesday.

The team released guard-forward Shaquille Keith, guard Jabs Newby, and forwards Kourtney Roberson and Kevin Thomas.
