TORONTO -- The Toronto Rock say they've signed three players who'll be returning to the lacrosse team for the 2013 season.

General manager Terry Sanderson says goaltenders Nick Rose and Zak Boychuk, and defenceman Damon Edwards have each signed one-year contracts.

Rose was acquired from Calgary at the trade deadline in March and helped the Rock to a 5-1 record down the stretch.

Edwards was signed as a free agent last season when the Rock ran into some injury problems.

With the off-season retirement of backup goaltender Pat Campbell, Boychuk compete for a roster spot after spending 2012 on the practice roster.
