LOS ANGELES -- Conor McGregor is getting a rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 200 in July.

The promotion also announced Wednesday that Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar will meet for the interim featherweight title on the same card.

Diaz beat McGregor by submission in the second round of a welterweight bout March 5 at UFC 196, one of the most lucrative pay-per-view shows in mixed martial arts history. They'll meet again at the 170-pound welterweight limit.

McGregor is still the UFC's 145-pound champion, but Aldo and Edgar will meet for the interim belt and a unification fight against McGregor.

Aldo was the long-reigning featherweight champion until McGregor knocked him out last December. Edgar is a former lightweight champion.

UFC 200 is July 9 at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
