A suspect wanted in connection with multiple sexual assaults that occurred in Toronto last month has been arrested, Toronto police tell CP24.

Thomas Reardon, 34, of Toronto, was arrested in Pickering Thursday evening, Toronto police Det. Hunter Smith says.

Reardon was wanted in connection with three sexual assaults that occurred between Aug. 23 and Aug. 29.

According to police, on Aug. 23, at 2 p.m., a man approached an 18-year-old woman in the Yonge and Wellesley streets area.

The woman was then taken to a nearby apartment where she was assaulted.

On Aug. 24, a 40-year-old woman was assaulted by a man behind a commercial building in the Dundas and Parliament streets area at around 3 a.m.

On Aug. 29, a 26-year-old woman was assaulted at an apartment building in the Yonge and Gloucester streets area at around 2 a.m.

Earlier this month, a fourth victim came forward to report a sexual attack in the Wellesley and Shebourne streets area that occurred back in April.

At a press conference on Sept. 4, Toronto police said they believed the incident was linked to the assaults in August.

Police believe there may be more victims.
