A teenage girl was sexually assaulted multiple times by the same man while riding the subway in recent weeks.

Toronto police say the 17-year-old girl had never seen her attacker before she was assaulted.

The young woman told police she was approached and assaulted by a male suspect while riding the train at around 7 a.m. along the Bloor-Danforth line on Oct. 30.

A week later, on Nov. 6, the teen was sexually assaulted by the same suspect, again while riding the train along the Bloor-Danforth line at around 7 a.m.

Police say later that week on Nov. 12, the teen was awaiting a train on the platform at Jane Station when the same man approached her.

The girl was able run away from the suspect and report the incidents to authorities.

The suspect is described as being between 45 and 50 years old, with a muscular build, short grey hair and an olive complexion.

He was last seen wearing a green and blue plaid sweater, blue jeans and construction boots.

He was also carrying a white hard hat and a black duffel bag. Police say they have been unable to obtain an image of the suspect from TTC surveillance cameras.
