Toronto police are searching for 16-year-old boy on Wednesday who suffers from an autism disorder.

Mason MacPhail from Lindsay was attending a concert with his friends on Polson Street when he was separated from his three friends at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night. He was supposed to meet friends at the venue's parking lot at 11:30 p.m. but he didn't show up.

The search for him last night turned up no results. Police say even though MacPhail lives out of town, he is familiar with the Eaton Centre area.

He is described as five foot 11, 160 pounds with green eyes and short brown hair. He has a scar on his nose and was wearing blue jeans, a white long sleeved shirt and running shoes.

MacPhail has Asperger syndrome which is an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). He was attending an all age's concert at the Sound Academy.

Up to 50 police officers and the marine unit are looking for the teen.

Anyone with information on MacPhail's whereabouts is asked to call police at 416-808-5100.
