TSN has unveiled plans for a Toronto-based all-sports radio station that is set to hit the airwaves April 13.

The highly-anticipated TSN Radio 1050 will be available to residents of the Greater Toronto Area on AM 1050 and nationally online at TSN.ca and on TSN Mobile.

The radio station has the exclusive rights to all Toronto Argonauts games during the 2011 CFL season, and is the official broadcaster for two of golf's major championships – the British Open and U.S. Open – and the European football championships in 2012 and 2016.

Each day will kick off with a morning drive program, the Mike Richards Show, hosted by radio veteran Mike Richards.

Broadcasting from CTV's Queen Street headquarters and TSN's studios in Toronto, the station will feature TSN's roster of sports broadcasters and experts – from Bob McKenzie and Darren Dreger to Michael Landsberg and ESPN's Dan Shulman.

The weekday lineup marks the return of the Jim Rome Show to the GTA with outspoken host Jim Rome, along with the Toronto debut of the Dan Patrick Show with Sunday Night Football's Dan Patrick.

TSN Radio 1050 will also have exclusive access to all programming from the ESPN Radio Network.

The station is a joint effort between TSN and CHUM Radio, two CTVglobemedia properties.
