Toronto Transit Commission officials bestowed a special honour on a lucky transit rider Tuesday.
Officials welcomed the TTC's 28 billionth rider since the commission was formed in 1921.
TTC chair Karen Stintz presented a gift to the person at Davisville Station on Tuesday morning.
The TTC has the third largest ridership in North America after Mexico City and New York City.
