HAMILTON, Ont. - Police in Hamilton are investigating a fatal crash involving a dump truck.
It's alleged the truck struck a woman around 6 a.m. Wednesday on Barton Street East near a northbound exit ramp from the Red Hill Valley Parkway.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say a bike was found at the site of the crash but it's unclear whether the woman was riding it or standing with it.
The ramp and the area around it were to be closed to traffic for several hours.
