Beijing has been selected as the host city for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
The city was selected over Almaty, Kazakhstan today in voting held by the International Olympic Committee in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.
Beijing, which hosted the 2008 Olympics, will become the first city to host both a Winter and Summer Games.
Beijing and Almaty were the only two candidates in the voting.
