LONDON, Ont. - Two people have died and three more were injured Saturday night in what police believe could be a drunk driving incident.
Police say a pickup truck swerved off the road on Pressey Line after 10 p.m. in Malahide Township, about 40 kilometres southeast of London, Ont.
The truck hit part of a bridge just west of Carter Road.
Two passengers, a 30-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman, were killed in the collision. Their identities have not been released.
The driver, a 30-year-old man from Springford, Ont., and two other passengers were sent to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested the driver for suspected impaired driving.
