OTTAWA -- Meghan Agosta-Marciano scored a hat trick to pace Canada to an 8-0 win over Finland at the women's world hockey championships.
The defending champions clinch first in their pool and earned a bye to Monday's semifinals.
Brianne Jenner contributed a pair of goals, with Bailey Bram, Sarah Vaillancourt and Jennifer Wakefield also scoring for Canada.
Goaltender Shannon Szabados picked up the win with 16 saves.
The United States also earn a bye to Monday's semifinals.
Switzerland and Russia will meet in one quarter-final and it will be Finland versus Germany in Saturday's other quarter-final.
