The provincial police say there will be some changes made to Ontario's Amber Alert system in the wake of the Tori Stafford case.

The changes, which will be unveiled in the fall, come after criticism over the police response to Tori's disappearance.

OPP Sgt. Dave Rektor says commissioner Julian Fantino is behind the changes.

Tori disappeared on April 8th but an Amber Alert wasn't issued because it did not meet the criteria.

Her body was found in a rural area north of Guelph.

Two people 19-year-old Terri Lynn McClintic and 28 year-old Michael Rafferty have both been charged with first degree murder and kidnapping.
