With the arrival of spring comes construction season, and with construction season comes road closures.
Beginning May 24, Pottery Road will close between Bayview and Broadview avenues for road work.
The closure is expected to last until Sept. 5.
A series of road, sidewalk and water main improvements are scheduled, including road reconstruction with curb, guide rail and retaining wall installation, new sidewalks, water main replacements and storm water upgrades.
Improvements to the Lower Don bike trail crossing at Pottery Road are also planned.
During the closure there will be no through traffic on Pottery Road. Local business access will be maintained.
