After only one year, CP24 Breakfast has become a popular morning show for viewers in the GTA.

Celebrating its one year-birthday Friday, the show is now reaching an impressive 1.4 million viewers weekly and 683,000 viewers in the A25-54 demographic.

"We're striving to provide a real alternative for the people of Toronto and the reaction is phenomenal," said Bob McLaughlin, Vice-President and General Manager, CP24. "And it's working. I'm very proud of what our team has accomplished in such a short period of time."

The last year has been an exciting one for CP24 Breakfast. From top-tier musical guests including the Canadian Tenors, Daughtry, and Nikki Yanofsky; to interviews with sports stars including Paul Tracy, Mark Messier, Wendel Clark, the 3.5 hour program delivers all the news and information – including weather and traffic updates every 10 minutes.

The show also has featured community activists Marc and Craig Kielburger, spent time raising money for earthquake victims in Haiti and helped Princess Margaret Hospital sell out tickets for the home lottery in a one-day blitz.
