Viewers are getting a sneak peek Thursday at a 7,000 sq-ft dream home on CP24 as The Princess Margaret Home Lottery: The BIG Ticket gets underway this year to help advance cancer research.

One of the 10 grand prize properties this year is a $3.99-million show home in Thornhill. The Early Bird Prize is a gorgeous lakefront cottage in the Kawarthas.

Tickets are $100 each or three for $250. There is a total of 35,500 prizes valued over $13.3 million.

Proceeds from lottery tickets support crucial cancer research programs at The Princess Margaret, organizers say.

CP24 will be live from the Thornhill home starting with CP24 Breakfast on Thursday morning. Viewers can have a look at the home's music room which features a glistening baby grand piano, the family room that sports a distinctive stone and a hardwood fireplace, the kitchen with white cabinetry and an oversized granite-topped island, plus a home theatre with a 90 inch screen and projector and more!

CP24 Breakfast will also be giving away our big 3D TV prize from the home, and then we've got another package to give away to a viewer.

For more information about the home and other prizes in the Princess Margaret Home Lottery: The BIG Ticket, check out the digital brochure. Users can also vote on their favourite grand prize.
