TORONTO -- Actor Keanu Reeves will be among the guests at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Organizers say the Toronto-raised star will appear at the festival's Asian Film Summit on Sept. 10 to discuss his latest project, "Man of Tai Chi."

Reeves directed and stars in the Chinese-American martial arts drama, which will have its North American premiere at the festival.

Hong Kong director Johnnie To will also appear at the second-annual summit, which aims to build bridges between Asia and the West.

The summit features programming that explores the East-West relationship, and includes panel discussions, workshops and a gala banquet.

Other guests lined up for the summit include industry veteran Tatsumi (Tom) Yoda and Canadian producer Niv Fichman.
