HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. -- Police in Florida have released video they hope will lead to the identification of a person of interest in the slaying last month of a Toronto couple.

Rochelle Wise, 66, a popular former day camp director and educator and her husband, David Pichosky, 71, were found dead on Jan. 10 in their winter home in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

Capt. Sonia Quinones says a woman was captured on a neighbour's video surveillance camera walking to the rear of the Pichosky-Wise home on Jan. 9.

Quinones says in a release that the woman was carrying an item when she walked to the rear of building, but returned to the front area empty handed.

Wise and Pichosky were scheduled to meet neighbours for lunch, and when they did not hear from the couple, the concerned neighbours used a spare key to check the home and found the couple inside.

Police say the cause of death is still under investigation.

Wise was the director of Crestwood Valley Day Camp in Toronto from 1990 to 2005 and was a preschool vice-principal at Bialik Hebrew Day School.
