TORONTO - G20 protesters have stopped traffic in downtown Toronto for a third day in a row.

They are chanting against the G8 and G20, and against the Royal Bank for its backing of the tar sands.

There was a brief and noisy confrontation with police who were keeping the protesters on Bathurst Street.

The protesters chanted anti-police slogans and the march resumed, complete with a float with a polar bear doll and an oil-soaked duck figurine.

The float reads: "BP oil kills."

Some protesters are dressed up as clowns, some are wearing tie-dyed shirts, and others are waving placards and banners.

The crowd of a couple of hundred people are on what they're calling a three-hour "toxic tour" of Toronto.
