TORONTO - A judge has ordered the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to allow Toronto Humane Society staff back inside the building by Dec. 29.

The shelter has been closed since on Nov. 26 when it was raided and charges laid against five senior staff.

The charges include cruelty to animals.

The OSPCA will be allowed to continue its investigation and to care for the animals.

But it cannot occupy the building indefinitely.

The humane society had argued a search warrant obtained by the OSPCA was only good for five days.
