Jury selection begins Tuesday for the trial of one of the suspects charged in connection with the Boxing Day murder of Jane Creba.

Fifteen-year-old Creba was fatally shot on Yonge Street by Gould Street on Boxing Day in 2005.

Reports at the time suggested she was caught in the midst of a shootout between two groups of youth.

The 20-year-old suspect cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, because he was 17 at the time of the shooting.

He is charged with second degree murder, attempted murder and five gun offences.  A jury pool of more than 400 people is being assembled and the selection process will take up to two days.

The trial is expected to last two months.
