BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Nathan Lawson made 36 saves Friday as the Binghamton Senators defeated the Toronto Marlies 4-2 in the American Hockey League.

Stephane Da Costa, with a goal and an assist, Mike Hoffman, Mika Zibanejad and Derek Grant, into an empty net, provided the offence for Binghamton (25-8-4).

Dylan Yeo and Spencer Abbott had the goals for Toronto (22-12-3), which got 21 saves from Jussi Rynnas.

Tied 1-1 in the second period, Zibanejad gave Binghamton the lead for good at 15:26. Hoffman then doubled the lead at 4:25 of the third.

Yeo got one back for Toronto at 19:17, but Grant iced the game into the empty net with 20 seconds left in regulation.

The Marlies finished the night 1-for-5 on the power play, while the Senators were scoreless on their four chances.
