Police are searching for four suspects in connection with a smash-and-grab style robbery at a jewelry store in Oshawa earlier this week.
Police say they responded to a robbery at Paris Jewellers, in the Oshawa Centre mall, around 7 p.m.
Officers say four men dressed in dark clothes entered the store, smashed the display cases and stole various pieces of jewelry. They add that they allegedly stole some items from the store’s vault after one of the suspects threatened an employee to open a safe.
Police say they drove away from the mall in a light-coloured SUV.
No physical injuries were reported following the incident.
Police are searching for four male suspects who are between five and six feet tall and were last seen wearing black clothing. Two of the suspects were seen wearing a blue mask, police say.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or footage of the incident to contact them at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
